Month 5...and it's a GIRL!

We finally had our anatomy scan yesterday and we were told officially that we are having a baby girl!!! We are SO excited and I already have so many ideas for the nursery, not to mention I've been shopping Etsy for bows and tutus for over a month! Yes, I was expecting a boy at first (for some odd reason) but I am definitely not disappointed...we've been planning on a girl since our 13wk scan and we're so thrilled to know for sure now. :-)

Autumn at the Arboretum

We have never been to the Dallas Arboretum during the fall and I know their pumpkin patch is one of the best in the metroplex. So with Keith busy all day judging, Dylan and I decided to head out and visit the pumpkins. Of course my ultimate goal was to get some fun pics of Dylan, but since I was flying solo this time (and fat and pregnant) I decided to not push the camera in Dylan's face and followed his lead instead...a very important rule about photographing toddlers!

And yes he is wearing different shorts in half of the pictures...we got a little too excited running around the bales of hay. After some pizza for lunch we headed home, completely exhausted! Another fun morning out with my little guy!

Last week Dylan and I went to one of Keith's football games. As soon as we drove into the parking lot he yelled "school buses, Football, MARCHING BANDS!!!"...he was pretty excited to see Daddy there too!

Then he noticed the kitty walking around, so he had to get a better look!

Dylan was so excited to be there, I didn't think I'd ever get him home! Luckily he easily said "bye" to Daddy once it started getting dark and he knew he had to go "night night" :-)
