Dinosaur Walk

Yesterday I invited our family to tag along with the Hyde's when they went to The Heard (nature preserve in McKinney) to go look at a dinosaur exhibit they currently have open. It was a beautiful day outside (in January) and even Keira seemed to enjoy the outing :-)

Keira Addyson - 10 Months

I can't believe we're just 2 months away from the Big 1! This month Keira started eating more table food. With the holidays and her being sick (ear infections that wouldn't quit), giving her more solids wasn't on my priority list. But when I realized she was almost 10 months still only on cereal/oatmeal and purees, we started introducing her to more things. She loves eating bread and pastas, beans, puffs, and is finally starting to use her sippy cup. However I'm still pretty nervous about giving her too many table foods since she still has no teeth. Where the heck are they?!?! She can also shake her head to say "no" when she doesn't want something...and so it starts! Keira also started standing on her own around Christmas and soon started taking a few steps! She can now take about 5-10 steps on her own now, but not willingly...hopefully soon!

Keira also celebrated her 1st Christmas and had no idea what was going on :-) She also started a new class at daycare and seems to be adjusting well to the change. And we finally took Keira in for her 9-month appointment and her stats were weight: 21 lbs, 9oz (75-90%) and height: 28 1/2 in (50-75%), so not quite as big as her brother :-)

Trains at NorthPark

We are on our last weekend of Winter Break and I wanted to get out and do something fun with the kids while we could...just the 4 of us. So we decided to go to NorthPark Center and visit the trains they have on display during the holiday season. I knew for a fact that Dylan would love it...and he did!

Loved the UFO with alien Santa's!

Dallas Skyline

So bored with trains...

State Fair of Texas...

One happy little boy!
