Easter 2015

Unfortunately, since we're so used to Keith working on Easter, we still don't have any "Easter traditions". It was full intention to start some this year, but, as always, life got crazy and it didn't happen. I din't even buy items for the kids Easter baskets until the day before (which is why they we Easter suitcases instead). So thankful that my parents were able to send up some confetti-filled eggs so the kids could have an egg hunt...

Keira didn't love it so much this year...

Our Easter cake that ended up looking like a donut...

...and the Easter suitcases!

Finally, a Snow Day!

We had a couple of ice days in North Texas, but with February coming to an end, I was afraid we weren't going to receive any snow, and Keira would not have a chance to play in it for the first time. At least not for another year. But 2 days before March began, the snow finally started to fall! And it was beautiful! It started falling around 9am, while we were at work, and I was worried it would stop falling before I had a chance to pick up the kids, or that it wasn't going to stick and they wouldn't have a chance to play in it first. But it fell all day and I am so happy I decided to pack my camera in my work bag, just in case. I love these pictures...

After we got home...Keira loves changing everyone's diaper (everyone from her baby, her Gloworm, and Princess Sofia...even Buzz Lightyear poops!)

Thanks for the snow! Now, let's get ready for Spring!!!

Dylan and his Polar Express train

Dylan's initial "big" gift from Santa this year was going to be his very own golf set...this kid loves him some Top Golf. But last week, while watching Polar Express with him for the 50th time this month (not to mention the fact that we listen to the soundtrack in the car EVERYDAY on our way home from school) it dawned on me...Santa should get him the Polar Express train for Christmas! Luckily Amazon was able to promise delivery by Christmas Eve. I thought he'd be excited about this, but I had no idea he'd love it was much as he did today. He literally played with it ALL DAY LONG. He didn't touch any of his other presents...he was obsessed, and so happy...
