Merry Christmas!

We had a great Christmas this year! Dylan was actually into it and completely loved opening all of his presents and playing with his toys (and tossing aside the clothes). We don't really do much on Christmas Eve until we leave for church. After mass we head over to the Outback Steakhouse in Lewisville for dinner before going back home to make some cookies for Santa. It's our little tradition and we love it.
Our Christmas Eve picture...I'm surprised we actually got a good one!

Christmas morning!!!

After opening presents and watching "The Christmas Story" like 5 times, Keith started working on making Grandma Mitchell's recipe for sausage and meatballs...and they were delicious!!! And by 1pm it started snowing! It had been forecasted for a while and I was so excited it actually did...my first White Christmas!

When it first started...

...the snow weighed Snoopy down and he couldn't keep his head up :-/

So excited!

Definitely a memorable Christmas :-)

The next day Keith's parents and Stacey came up for Christmas #3 and Dylan loved opening more presents!
He LOVED this Thomas!

Christmas mess! The more the better ;-)

LOVE my new Kelly Moore camera bag!

Papa playing trains with Dylan...

We had a great Christmas with Keith's family but it was unfortunately cut short. PawPaw, Rodger's dad, passed away early this morning and we are all sending our thoughts and prayers to him and his family to help them heal during this difficult time.

Keith is heading down to Buna on Tuesday for the funeral (I shouldn't be traveling for 5 hours in the car, 30 weeks pregnant with my sciatic pain...plus taking a toddler to a funeral probably isn't a great idea either), so he's trying to get as much painted in the nursery as he can since we'll need to move the furniture into her room because Dylan's new furniture is being delivered on Tuesday. It's finally starting to come together!
