Our July, 2014

After we got back from our vacation we tried doing as much as we could with the kids before Keith went back to work in early August.

Dylan started his 2nd season of soccer...

...and Keira still cried because she couldn't play too.

We also watched the fireworks at Addison's Kaboomtown with the Hyde's!

And we went to a Ranger's game...

...and they had big roonies!!!! (thats what Dylan calls macaroni and cheese)

We bought the All-You-Can-Eat seats and Keira ate a whole box of popcorn by herself...

We also went golfing...

...and Gloworm golfed too :-)

We bowled...

...and we also went to Vanessa's birthday party!

We also visited Little Elm Park...I really wish we had done this more this summer

And we had one more photo shoot at Lake Grapevine!

I go back to work next week and the kids go back to daycare in 2 weeks. Dylan's already making a fuss about not wanting to go back, so looks like we'll have 2 kids tantruming as we drop them off that first day. Still can't believe Dylan will be in Pre-K!

Dylan's Spring 2014 Soccer Season

Well, the soccer season finally came to an end! It was a bummer that I didn't get to see very much of it since I spent most of my time trying to keep Keira preoccupied and from running on to the field (when does her season start?!?!), but it was SO fun getting to watch Dylan try something new. We definitely had our rough days/games, but overall, I'm so happy he had this experience. Keith signed him up for the summer season, with games in the mornings, thankfully, so we'll see how he does during the next season...and without Jackson :-/

Dylan's soccer pictures, since he refused to take them with his team during Picture Day...

Jackson showing Keira off the field...and she's NOT happy!

After almost every game we came to McAlister's for dinner...

Dylan selfie!

Video of Dylan's last game...so proud of him!

Dylan's 1st soccer game

This spring we decided to sign Dylan up for soccer, and Jackson's family signed him up for the same team too! He had been talking about playing soccer all week and, of course, the day of he wanted nothing to do with it. He didn't want to put his team shirt on and sat out most of the practice, and it didn't help that Keith was one of the coaches either. But we were finally able to get him out on the field in time for game time. He spent most the game attached to Keith's side and he was pretty upset that he didn't get to kick the ball (well, it's hard when you're not running after it...he's so my child), but he was on the field and that was good enough for us!

Here's hoping this is something that Dylan can stick with!!!
